Witty, chatty, intense it is not possible to pin down Farhan Akhtar to just one category. While the world is still busy analysing his last film, Don, the three-film-old GenNext filmmaker has already moved on to other projects. And they are not necessarily about calling the shots from behind the camera.

Donning a new role:
In the Capital to attend the Young Indian Summit, Farhan says, just finished Fakir in Venice, my first film as an actor. It is expected to release in March and Anu Kapoor is my co-actor, playing the Fakir.

Besides this bi-lingual film, Farhan has two other production ventures lined up. Reema Kagti Honeymoon Travels Private Limited and my sister Zoya Kismat Talkies, he informs.

And his next directorial project, in the early 20th century and i about a boy in Kolkata. Farhan has an interesting story to narrate, we have been trying to make it since Dil Chahta Hai but every time, something else comes up. I hope I succeed this time.”

Last but not the least:
Apart form donning a new role, is the Don fever over? He seems to disagree. I am still all about Don. After all, we live with the characters and the story 24×7 for more than a year.

Footloose:
Farhan shares the passion of exploring the world with his wife Adhuna. And they are trying to inculcate the same in their daughter Shakiya.

I want to make Shakiya, who is now six, a global citizen. She has been travelling with us since the age of three. I expect this to continue for at least another 10 years before she decides not to travel with her parents anymore.
